Long Itinerary:
Day 01: Reporting at the Base Camp International Youth Club, Mcleodganj - Acclimatization, Orientation & Training .Overnight stay in the tent. Trek from Mcleodganj to Triund Via Guna (9 Kms/ 5-6 Hours/2975 Meters) - It is a beautiful walk through mixed forests of the deodar, oak and rhododendron. Triund is situated on a ridge with a beautiful view of whole Kangra valley on one side and Dhauladhar mountain range on the other side. First 2km is a steep ascent but there is a gradual ascent after Galu Devi temple. The last 1 km is again a steep ascent through the forest. Triund is a flat meadow on top of a ridge. From here one can witness panoramic view of Dhauladhar range on one side and Kangra valley on the other is a memorable sight. Overnight stay in tents.
Day 02: Trek from Triund to  Laka Got (07 Kms/6-7 Hours/3700 Meters) - After a short ascent from Triund traverse a ridge to reach Laka Got – a temporary shephard camp. Laka Got is situated at the snout of a small glacier , which is full of snow and ice in early summer and the snow melts away during the monsoon. So we will also have some activities on snow.Night stay in the camp at Laka Got.
Day 03: Trek from Laka Got  to Indrahar Pass – Laka Got  (12 Kms/8-9 Hours/4300 Meters) - Start early in the morning, the weather gets bad in the afternoon. In the early summer (April to May) the trail is full of snow and ice and require good equipment. During post monsoon (September to November) there is no snow or ice and there is narrow trail going up to the pass. It takes about three to four hours to reach the  pass and another three hours to come down. From the pass entire Pir Panjal range of central Himalayas is a sight to behold. Back to Laka Got For Panjal range of central Himalayas is a sight to behold. Back to Laka Got for night stay.
Day 04: Trek from Laka Got - Mcleodganj (15 Kms/6-7 Hours) - Follow the same route on the way back via Triund or different. This will depend on the snow. If there is less snow then we will follow a different route which goes from Triund going over a grassy meadow and desecend down to Bhagsu Nag and then to Mcleodganj and will come to our base camp at Mcleodganj.Night stay at the camp. Trip Ends.
Extra Nights Stay at Mcleodganj will be charged at Rs.500 Per Person/Night
Day 05: Check out after the Breakfast at 8:30 AM.

Use of Narcotics, Alcohol & Smoking is strictly prohibited during the expedition. Violation of the same may result in check out from the camp or fine of Rs.2,000/- or both.

B. INCLUSIONS & EXCLUSIONS

Inclusions Orientation and Training, all meals, tea & snacks during the expedition, stay on Triple/Quad sharing basis in Tents, Sleeping Bags & Sleeping Mats, Experienced & Professional Guides, Forest Entry and Permissions, Group Insurance, First Aid and Certification on Completion.
Exclusions It does not include any airfare or transportation or extra over and above the expedition plan. It also does not include any travel insurance and expenses towards medical exigencies and other emergencies. However, all best possible assistance would be provided in case of exigencies. Unforeseen handling costs due to weather disturbance, land slides, political unrest. Personal expenses towards tips, telephone calls, laundry, beverage, insurance etc.

Distance by Road 558 Kms from Delhi; 100 Kms from Pathankot/Chakkibank; 325 Kms from Chandigarh
Nearest Railway Station Pathankot or Chakkibank 100 Kms and Chandigrah – 325 Kms
Nearest Airport Dharamshala is 20 Kms & Amritsar is 200 Kms and Jammu is 200 kms.

Things to Carry T-shirts, Trekking Pants, Windproof jacket preferably with a hood, Warm and thick Fleece, Full-sleeve Woolen sweater, Thermal inner wear (upper & lower), Woolen cap, Woolen gloves, Woolen socks & regular socks (3-4 pairs), Scarf/muffler (optional), Comfortable Trekking/Hiking shoes (shoes with a thick sole are recommended), Lightweight floaters/sandals/slippers, Raincoat / Poncho, Small light weight towel, Water bottle, Sunscreen Lotion, Cap to keep the strong sun away from your face, Sun glasses, Walking stick / Trekking pole, Sunscreen Lotion, Lip Balm, Torch / Flashlight (with extra batteries), Medicines (if requiring any specific medication), Personal toiletries, Books, if you like reading, Day pack/small bag which you will carry on your back every day and keep your essentials in it, Camera with charged batteries. Please avoid carrying expensive watches, jewelry and electronic items on the trek.
Important Note International Youth Club takes utmost care to ensure safety of its members during the trekking expeditions. However in the case of any unforeseen mishaps, International Youth Club will not be liable for any injuries caused or for loss of life. All disputes rising due to the above are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi/Delhi only. All participants would be required to sign an Indemnity Form before the start of the program, without which they would not be allowed to take part in the trekking and expeditions.
Purpose of the Expedition International Youth Clubs focuses to promote sustainable tourism to preserve country’s environmental heritage. We aim to bring about a positive change via encouraging benefits of sustainable tourism, intercultural dialogue and culture of peace, in association with local communities, which is a motivational force for sustainable practices. These communities play a pivotal role in preservation of cultural identities and natural heritage, and they become pressure point for an equitable local share in the economic benefits of tourism. We encourage all to come forward and join the expeditions to mark the change and protect environmental heritage.
Photography & Videography Competition All the participants may transfer and share their pictures/videos taken through the expedition at the base camp before check out from the camp by making folder in the name of participant in their respective batch folders in official laptop stationed at the Base Camp OR the same may be transferred through Google drive. The nominated jury will select the best 10 pictures to be published by the International Youth Club to showcase the expedition. The selected winners will get the opportunity to join in any of the expedition organised by International Youth Club within next one year as a token of reward.
Certification After successful completion of the program, the participating members will be awarded a certificate of completion the trekking expedition by International Youth Club.
Cancellation, Withdrawal and Refund policy We would love to host you, but in case you are unable to travel as planned and need to cancel your booking, do not worry. Our simple cancellation process makes sure you receive a quick confirmation and fast refunds. Cancellation made before 15th April’2016 – 50% Refund Cancellation made after 15th April’2016 – No Refund No refund is applicable for the bookings made after 15th April’2016 The applicable refund amount will be credited to you before 20th April’2016
